“Comprising several pieces made from colored resin, the MS Collection embodies the concept of symbiotic juxtaposition, where two contrasting volumes coexist harmoniously. Each piece features a solid rectangular/circular exterior that encases an empty spherical or elliptical interior, beautifully capturing the interplay between fullness and emptiness. This collection represents a natural evolution from the 2019 MST series, in which a vibrant colored sphere was nestled within a white resin rectangular block. The MS Collection takes this concept further, enhancing the aesthetic experience through the dynamics of light. The interplay of light with the void inside each piece brings it to life, creating an enchanting visual effect that continuously transforms with perspective. As viewers shift their angles, they notice a subtle fading effect within the geometry of the empty volume, drawing them deeper into the experience of the piece. This intriguing optical phenomenon emphasises the collection's core metaphor: the coexistence of opposites. Emptiness and fullness, presence and absence, positive and negative; together they create a rich dialogue that challenges our perceptions and encourages reflection.
