The G Collection is a series of sculptural resin furniture defined by geometric clarity and a meticulous production process. The collection draws inspiration from the architectural lineage of Carlo Scarpa’s interplay of positive and negative volumes, as well as Frank Lloyd Wright’s early geometric structures, such as the 1939 Taliesin West. The foundational piece, the GSD Console, established the collection's signature language: pure lines, precise 90-degree angles, and thin, structural profiles. While resin is synthetic, its interaction with light gives it an organic quality. The material allows for exceptionally sharp edges that refract and reflect their environment. Depending on the lighting, a single piece can shift dramatically from a deep, dense shadow to a vibrant, translucent luminosity. This visual volatility is paired with a distinct tactile contrast; the polished surfaces are clinically smooth yet surprisingly warm to the touch. Each piece is handmade by skilled artisans in the Netherlands. The complex, time-consuming casting and polishing processes require absolute precision to maintain the structural integrity of the sharp angles, elevating these functional forms into works of collectible design.
